You can now reserve tickets for the Pan Am Games
You only have a little less than a full year to get tickets.

You can now buy tickets for the 2015 Pan Am Games. Kinda.

That is to say, you can request a ticket. So if you haven’t bought a ticket yet, fret not; they’re not being sold on a first come, first serve basis. Instead, tickets can be requested until October 6th, at which point the event’s organizers will hold a lottery for each event that sees demand outstrip supply.

Most tickets are being sold for a reasonable price—on average, prices range from $20 to $50. That said, if you want to check out the opening ceremony, which will feature a performance by Cirque du Soleil, then prepare to pay more. Tickets there start at $100, and go as high as $350

The Pan Am Games start next summer on July 10 and go through to July 26. Some of the world’s best athletes will descend on Toronto for the two week sporting event. So why not be proactive and get a ticket? It’s like they say, the early bird gets the worm.

Ticket’s can be requested on the Pan Am Games website. [via blogTO]
