Worn Fashion Journal announces its final issue
A special double issue will be published on November 22.

Sad news for fashion lovers as Worn Fashion Journal announced its final issue this morning.

The news came through the publication’s website. No reason was given for the decision, though the journal doesn’t plan to go out with a whimper; the publication’s final issue will be a special double one, and Worn will also host one more of its legendary launch parties.

The decision to cease publishing comes fresh off Worn’s 10th anniversary. For the time being, back issues of the journal can currently be purchased on Worn‘s website for a reduced price.

For those that haven’t had a chance to read Worn, the magazine was loved for its relentlessly intelligent take on fashion. The magazine also had powerful effect on this publication as several of Toronto Standard‘s style contributors got their start at Worn before joining Toronto Standard.

Issue 19 and 20 will be released on November 22, 2014. [via blogTO]
