Are Bay Streeters ready for their close-up? With #OccupyWallStreet spreading north–a protest is planned here next Saturday–and anti-corporate sentiment running high, finance workers best be suiting up for primetime. For this week’s Uniform Project, photographer Sarah Blais snapped three classic money-men on their lunch breaks.
“Do you know you’re not supposed to wear this kind of a hat past Labour Day?” says this American man. “I still do.” He wears a Zegna suit and thinks protests on Wall Street force politicians to think about the issues.
Below, our second man (they’ve got privacy issues, these gents) wears a suit from Brunello Cucinelli with shoes by A. Testoni. He believes #OccupyWallStreet to be “not a good use of anybody’s time.”
Ronaldo, 80, is retired but consulting. He bought his shoes on a business trip in Paris 40 years ago, the trousers from Holts, and the jacket for Hugo Boss. And the tie? “After all,” he says, “it’s pumpkin season.”
