WATCH: Rob Ford's Camera Crash Makes it to Kimmel
Ford to replace Jimmy Fallon as Late Night host?

When we here at Toronto Standard first saw footage of Rob Ford’s high speed collision with a CityTV news camera, we thought it couldn’t get any worse for ‘ol Robbie. He’s on the losing end of the casino debate, he’s sticking out like a sore thumb on the transporation file and now he’s getting hit in the face with a camera. That one smarts. I guess a major collision is always at risk when you walk and talk or, say, read and drive, but that one looked like it hurt.

Last night, Jimmy Kimmel — a well-known leftist, media elite from La La Land — literally added insult to injury for the Mayor when he joked about the crash in front of an audience of millions on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Seems like nothing’s going Rob’s way these days. At least if he fails to win re-election next year he can always fall back on a career in late night comedy.
