From leather clad women of a certain age, to local reporters and TTC drivers, Rob Ford seems to get harrassed, accosted, trespassed against, (insert variation of term here), more than any other public figure we know of. Last week saw Ford claim that a TTC streetcar driver “came out and accosted” him after Ford allegedly illegally drove past the open front door of a streetcar on Dundas St. West. Ford called TTC chief executive Andy Byford directly after the altercation to complain about the driver.
In the story’s latest update, Ford held a rare media scrum at City Hall on Tuesday. Ford says he drove past the closed back door, but stopped in advance of the open front door– which can be dangerous, but isn’t illegal. The question still remains… who will accost Ford next? [Toronto Star]
