Today, Netflix announced it will be launching the entire 4th season of Arrested Development on May 26th, and while fans of the show have waited more than long enough for it’s return, we wonder whether we’re quite ready for the big Michael Cera comeback that seems to be ramping up alongside it. As well as returning to the series, Cera has recently been featured in Seth Rogen and James Franco’s end of world comedy This is the End (due out in June) and just last month he launched YouTube comedy channel JASH.com with Sarah Silverman at SXSW. Then there was Sundance in January where Cera had not one, but two films, both directed by Sebastián Silva. Of those, Crystal Fairy, in which Cera plays the mostly unscripted role of ADD-afflicted Jaimie, won Silva the best Director Award and has been picked up for distribution by IFC films. But with so much Cera, the question remains: Are we ready for more? Will the return of George-Michael remind us why we loved him to begin with, or will it just reaffirm that Cera is still best at one thing, and that’s playing himself.
