One of most charming aspects of Google’s search engine is the countless easter eggs that its developers have hidden deep within the search engine. For instance, type “do a barrel role” into Google’s search field, and, well, the ubiquitous search engine will do a barrel roll for you.

However, even that excellent feature pales in comparison to Google’s most recent inclusion, as users are now able to quickly discover the degrees of seperation of their favourite actor or actress from Kevin Bacon. To take advantage of this game changing feature, type in “Bacon number” followed by the name of an actor, and presto, Google will output a Bacon number, telling you said actor’s relation to Kevin Bacon. I’ve tried many an actor’s name, but, alas, have only managed to get a Bacon number of two. Maybe you could do better? [Gawker]
