First, it was the Heritage Minute. Now, another relic of 90s Canadian television is angling to return. On Sunday, Hal Johnson announced via Twitter that he and partner Joanne McLeod will audition for The Amazing Race Canada. Those of a certain vintage will fondly remember the couple’s short television segement, Body Break, which told audiences to “keep fit and have fun.”
It’s unclear whether CTV will want to associate its show with the Body Break brand. One thing is certain, however: Joanne and Hal would murder the competition with their superior fitness and affinity for completing various challenges.
In meantime, here’s three Body Break segments for nostalgia.
