Drake's OVO Fest Lineup Announced
October's Very Own brings you Frank Ocean & James Blake

Girls may love Beyoncé, but everyone loves the Ocean.

The Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All member-cum-soulful solo artist was just added to the lineup of Drake’s OVO (October’s Very Own) FestivalFrank Ocean released his infinitely-listenable album Channel Orange last summer, which also happened to be my favourite of the year. Ocean also recently announced his participation in Montreal’s Osheaga, which will take place in the two days leading up to OVO.

Equally as exciting is the announcement of James Blake’s performance, who was just in Toronto last week at The Danforth Music Hall. The British piano-player/DJ creates his own brand of music that makes you want to cry (in a good way). This also means we’re one step closer to the possibility of James Drake becoming an actual person.

The opening day of OVO coincides with the last day of Montreal’s Osheaga festival, and with this kind of news there’s little reason to leave the city for the Belle province at all. (Suck it, Quebec.)

 When: August 4th & 5th, 2013

Where: (Toronto’s Very Own) Molson Amphitheatre.

Tickets start at $50 and go on sale starting May 24th.
