Nuit and Jeff Regular, co-owners and chefs at popular Thai destination Khao San Road, have announced their sudden departure from the restaurant. The news comes shortly after the couple launched Sukhothai as well as their new Sabai Sabai bistro.

“We really don’t want to talk about it,” said Jeff to NOW Magazine. “It’s just something that came out of the blue.”

“As sometimes happens with business partners, we saw things differently from each other,” explained Regular. “We’re both very proud of what we built at Khao San Road and we will miss our customers and staff there.”

But, don’t worry, Khao San Road will survive the breakup. The Regulars’ long-time associate Monte Wan has taken over the establishment. [NOW]
