After the so-so theatrical success of Katy Perry’s Part of Me 3D, Beyoncé is pitching studios on a new feature-length auto-biopic starring, produced and directed by herself.
Vanity Fair reports the multi-hyphenate and her team has reportedly shown 20 minutes of footage to possible buyers, but details about the project remain under wraps. Beyoncé has produced and co-directed concert-documentaries before, including The Beyoncé Experience: Live, Beyoncé’s I Am… World Tour, and Beyoncé Year of Four, but this would be her first time at the helm on her own.
The currently-untitled project is rumoured to feature a mix of concert and personal footage, including some never-before-seen footage of the popular and talented baby Blue Ivy Carter.
