If you don’t know what Kickstarter is yet, you’re probably not from Toronto. Above Average Productions just released a new video that pokes fun at social media apps, including the social fundraising site Kickstarter. “If you’re like me, you’re always opening doors for African Americans. It’s the right thing to do, and it proves you’re not a racist,” the video begins. The mock-ad is for iNotRacist, an app which lets you compete with your friends by “earn[ing] iNotRacist points for everyday not racist things.”
The video is a plea to ‘Thingstarter’ for funding, which will be put toward the hiring of (diverse) programmers who will add various new features for the app, including not racist trivia among others. Check out the video below to learn more about the app, and what you could receive from a small, worthy, not racist donation.
