Ever wished that the corporate social media accounts representing the products you love could better serve you in your local region? Well wish no more, Doritos consumers from Kenora to Cornwall, Doritos Ontario has heard you loud and clear.

@DoritosOntario is, apparently, the official Twitter account for Doritos in Ontario. While region-specific corporate Twitter accounts are nothing new, Doritos Ontario embraces it’s Ontario-centric mandate with a zeal unprecedented in the social marketing sphere. The account has been tweeting since May 13 but starting making waves outside Ontario today thanks to a signal boost from BuzzFeed Senior Reporter Mike Hayes who called it his “new favorite weird thing happening on Twitter.”
