Amid the iPhone 5 pandemonium, this week, Apple released iOS 6, the newest operating system for iPhone, featuring a Google-alternative approach to mapping. This Apple-made mapping application, which frequently returns warped aerial images, incorrect results and has even labeled a shopping centre as a hospital, has received some not-so-pleasant reviews and comparisons.

Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller, tells the New York Times that because the mapping feature is cloud-based, it will improve as more people use it.
Apple is also being scrutinized this week for not yet selling adaptors to connect their new chargers to old accessories.
