Amid the iPhone 5 pandemonium, this week, Apple released iOS 6, the newest operating system for iPhone, featuring a Google-alternative approach to mapping. In a local fail, iOS 6 maps gave Pearson International Airport a lumpy makeover.

Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller, tells the New York Times that because the mapping feature is cloud-based, it will improve as more people use it.

Apple is also being scrutinized this week for not yet selling adaptors to connect their new chargers to old accessories
