Olympia Dukakis invites you to a VIP dinner and film screening this Thursday, September 13th, in Toronto. The special fundraiser will benefit the Greek America Foundation’s Greek Film & Foto week, along with their ongoing efforts to expand Toronto’s film and photography community.
The free film screening will take place at 6 p.m. Mrs. Dukakis will join movie goers to celebrate a triumph in cinema for a screening of her Oscar award winning role in Moonstruck. Reservations are required and can be made here.
A reception and VIP dinner will follow at Toronto’s own Local & Co. The restaurant, which has become a Toronto staple for un-pretentious fine dining and culture provides the perfect setting to wine and dine with Olympia herself. Including wine and hors d’oeuvres, the reception provides an intimate setting and complimentary movie ticket. Tickets for the the reception can be purchased here. A VIP dinner will follow the reception, tickets to the dinner include the Moonstruck screening, the reception and all the greek cuisine Local & Co. has to offer. Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the Greek America Foundation and it’s annual Greek Film & Foto festival which will take place in May of 2013. The film and photography festival is one of the largest in the world and injects Toronto’s art scene with inspiration and new ideas annually.
