Toronto’s east end has a new record store to call all its own.
Tiny Record Shop, located at 804 Queen East, opened this morning in the city’s Riverdale neighbourhood.
It’s a name that’s quite apt; the space Tiny Record Shop occupies is a minuscule 9-by-14 feet—making it only slighter larger than the house that buried Karen O.
The store is the newest venture by Paper Bag Records founder Trevour Larocque. Larocque and his partner Maude Fallon-Davesne have stocked the shop with an eclectic mix of albums both old and new. Those looking for Japanese pressings of the Rolling Stones most popular records, for example, are covered.
To mark the occasion, Tiny Record Shop is opened until 12am tonight. Go grab some vinyl after work, east-enders.
Update: Tiny Record Shop is located at 804 Queen East, not 904 Queen East. We apologize for the error.
