It was always my dream to get to 50 ideas at the Standard. And with a little help along the way from the erstwhile J. Dilkas, I’m getting there today, dammit! #48 – Wardrobe App I’m terrible at a) matching my clothes, even though I pretty much only wear jeans. On the bottom, of course. I don’t walk around bare-chested. Much. And b) remembering what’s in my wardrobe. I’d like to be able to photograph all my clothes and then mix ‘n match them to find new outfits. Kind of like Fashion Plates but on my phone. #49 – Flexible Dishwasher Rack Tines There are lots of different options of dishwasher racks that flip up and down and pop in and out. But none of them ever accommodate everything. There’s always a compromise involved. Could someone please create a rack with posts that are flexible, kind of like the arm of a Gumby toy so they could be bent to fit around whatever odd pot you want to avoid scrubbing? Please and thanks. #50 – Lamb Corned Beef Lamb is my favourite meat. Corned beef is definitely a top 5. Someone needs to combine the two. I might do it myself, having recently become a convert to homemade pastrami. But if anyone would like to take a crack at it before I do, please share your results with me. So that’s 50. It’s a nice round number, so I think I’m going to leave it at that. At least at the Standard. I’ve had a great time but my dissociated-personality partner J Dilkas and I have decided to team up and light out for the hinterlands.
