Canadians may do many things better than Americans, but spending time on the internet is no longer an item on that list. A new report by comScore has found that the average time Canadians spent online in the last quarter of 2012 has dropped from that same period in 2011. We now trail the United States in time spent online by just under two hours per month (that’s 41.3 hours per month for Canucks). However, we still hold the title of most websites viewed each month (averaging a hefty 120 different sites per day), and almost 100% of Canadian internet users use the internet every day. The report also revealed that mobile internet access has increased by 10% over the past year, a factor that may be contributing to the increased attention demand for less costly mobile packages from service providers has been getting in the media.
